How to join Gipping Valley Archers

We welcome archers who already have some experience in archery.  If any of the following circumstances apply, then please contact the club so that we can support you appropriately. 

• If you are an archer who hasn't shot for a while but wish to return to the sport

• You have moved to the area, or wish to change clubs

• You hold a membership with another club, but wish to shoot with Gipping Valley Archers as an additional club

To ensure safety standards are maintained, we will arrange a one to one with a member of our coaching team to assess your level of proficiency.  We can then provide the correct advice for you to start your membership.

We do have a high demand for our beginner courses, and for ad-hoc sessions by our existing membership.  Although we are extremely proud to have a dedicated and skilled coaching team, we do have to balance a number of considerations in our training calendar.  Like any other sporting club, our resources are not infinite and we try to schedule as many courses as we can throughout the year.  However, we have made the decision that we will not offer any 'taster sessions' this year other than for those who are already on our waiting list.

Beginner's

We are pleased to announce that we have two beginners courses that will soon be available for booking by those who are on our waiting list.  If you are on our waiting list, please remember to check your spam/junk folders.  The course runs for three consecutive Sundays, subject to weather conditions.  In the event that we have to cancel because of poor weather, we will reschedule the session at no additional cost to you.

We recommend that you ensure you are available for all three dates before you book.
